Tech 2 scanner needed asap

I had to change a caliper on my girlfriends mom's escalade and turns out you cant blead the system without the scanner, which i think is total bullshit. Anyhow all the dealers local to me are closed for the weekend and ive been at this POS for 2 days now and need to get it fixed like yesterday, does anyone have a scanner they would be gracious enough to let me borrow for a couple hours, i would drive it over but its not safe to drive it.

My brother sold his but I can see if he has anything else that will help.

Damn, I tried looking for a way to jump the obd-2 but couldnt find anything for the caddy's. I just think its stupid to design something that requires dealer service for something as simple as a brake job

ls1z28 (Paul) has one, or at least he did. kdracer73 (also Paul) might have one at his shop.

Actually you can bleed them with out a tech 2. Bleed them as you would any car drive it up to 10mph and slam on the brakes creating abs event. bleed them again and you should have a good pedal.

Yeah I tried that about 4 times every time I bled them and it didn't work. My mechanic quoted me 65 to finish for me so I'm just gonna take it in
