CTS-V Rear Two-Piece Rotor

A few of the guys over at cadillacforums.com are talking to racing brake about making the rear Rotor for us. I'm taking my car down there so they can take some measurements of the rear hat and spacing. :D

Hey bob does the STS use the same Rotor as the cts?

I believe the rotors are the same.

Cool Then we can pimp it on the STS-V forums

I thought about having two piece rotors made for the STS-V, but the rear brakes have a small drum brake setup on the inside for parking brakes. I am not sure if that will work with an aluminum hat like I was planning.

I have custom made two piece rotors for my SHO. They have aluminum hats with curved vane rotors. I use PBR calipers with that set up. The 12.5" two piece rotors weighs 1 lbs more that the stock 10.2" rotors, but I have much more stopping power and fade resistance.

The fronts two piece rotors are fully aluminum but the rears are going to have a steel hat from what I understand

I have the RB500 Pads and i love them....I cant wait till i get the full rotor set up

I have Hawk HP+ pads. The fronts squeal a bit, but I am too lazy to remove the pads and put on lube.
