Its pretty solid for an NA build I think. Going to mainly flog it in the canyons and road courses like Fontana.

That's essentially what I did with my LS7 but I kept the stock LS7 cam and went with Lingenfelter heads with Ferrea valves.
I'd stay away from E85 though

When are you thinking of doing it. I had foot surgery and don't know when I'll be able to drive again. I still have another two weeks before I'll even be able to stand on it.

Tried to do it Sunday afternoon, there was a bagillion cars up there. Average speed was about 6 mph.

I'll check my schedule, but if it's not snowy/closed, and it shouldn't be, how about between Christmas and New Year?

Make sure it's not between snows and the roads are rocked by Caltrans. I went up one year and it beat the crap out of my rocker panel plates.

Adam and I did it once and there were fucking boulders falling on the road, had a few softball sized rocks fall on the trunk lid.
