Tour D' Orange 2015
So, October. Too early to talk about 2015?
:p |
I will be doing Tour with my Camaro club. More than welcome to join us.
|
I’ll tag along with you guys again this year if that’s okay. Post up a meet-spot & time when you get the chance. Hopefully we’ll get there earlier than last year. ;)
|
Is this happening? I missed it last year when I got sick. Would like to try and make it this time.

Hello everyone,
Here are the details for Tour de Orange. We will be meeting at 7:15am (I know, it's early) at 150 Backer St E, Costa Mesa, CA, in the GE parking lot. We will be caravanning from there at 7:30am to the lot that Bob Z. has reserved for us. See attached map. Also, the club has been asked to help direct and park cars. The tour starts at 9am and will last for around three hours. We are planning on doing lunch at Five Guys Burgers in the District right after the cruise is over. 4 |
“See attached map.” :uh: Hmm… That’s okay I know where we’re meeting. Wow. Reserved spots. Nice.
|
I really want to go but I don't think I should take a 1 year old. It sucks too because the Ty is running amazingly well right now.

We drove cross country with no seat belts, why not do this? My daughter would be able to sit in the front, and I highly doubt that would hurt her feelings.
|
Doing the swing shift at work on new year's eve, don't think I'd be able to get up early enough for this...
|
They begin filling up the street/parking lots around 6 a.m., band at 6:30 a.m., maps at 8:45a.m. and on the road at 9, the last cars get underway by 9:45-10:00 a.m.
If you want to shoot some pictures, get there early as there is A LOT to see. |
Its going to be one cold morning.

Tour D Orange 1-1-2015

Greetings Motorgen,
I made it to the TDO 1-1-15, and managed to find a few Motorgen members in the mix. Great day, cold but a very good looking day for a Kodak moment of So-Cal. Wish I was rolling with the Tour today but the Dodge is in the process of final Fab and Assembly for completion, R. Jon inquired if a few shots of the progress would be posted, I was on track for a April visit/roll out with Motorgen but I will post a few shots of the 40' to share. Pleasure to see the Motorgen members today, take care all see-ya in the spring. P.S. the pic loads are over the limit so I will try a few follow up frames per post. |

It was good seeing you again Cliff. Even though we were tucked away in that corner you managed to find us, almost immediately. Eagle-eye. I wonder if there’s a way for you to load some of the photos from your phone to a separate photo-hosting site then share that link here. The speed odometer alone is great but grouped with all the other details you’ve incorporated… Wow. I think what you’re doing with this vehicle is worthy of documentation and sharing.

As I anticipated, I got home around 4am and enjoyed my 9 hours of sleep. Where are the pics?
|
It was nice meeting everyone. The wife and I had a great time. I will be posting some pictures shortly.

Oh man, that would drive me fuckin nuts.
|
Great pics. I've been keeping slightly more normal person hours recently and if that remains true next year, there's a chance I'll make it for once.
|
I really wanted to go but 3 kids by myself, no thank you.
