Adjusting Suspension on a Bandit

I'm thinking to sell my Bandit to a friend who is a bit shorter legged than I am. Can the suspension be dropped a few inches or is there not that much play?

Short answer is no I can get really involved if you like but a lowering kit is the only real way. http://www.streetfightersinc.com/LoweringKits.htm

To get more then 1/4in-inch of play is what your going to have to do. Rear springs are more for preload adjustments, damping/rebound all that fun stuff you really don't get too much height/lowering out of them.

Thanks. That's only 30mm, a bit more than an inch for the Bandit. That's not enough for him. Ah well.

He was on his tippy toes leaning to a side, not even straight up really. Dangerous. 30mm is a bit over on inch, he still wouldn't be anywhere near flat footed.

Yeah your right...damn that sucks
