Horray!! Can't wait..

Chuck 04-10-2012 01:46 PM

I am actually very excited for this one.

Small White Car 04-10-2012 06:09 PM

Hmmmm, looks like I'll have to try and get the time off, see if I can't scrape up some more tiny cars...

:p

Leedom 04-10-2012 11:17 PM

This is my favorite cruise of the year by far. Can't wait!

2011GT302 04-10-2012 11:49 PM

We got a map for the run?

Probably the same as last time. I'll put it all up in May after the Nick's meet.

Following the 2 is pretty straight forward, leading to the 138 and then on to the 15, pretty tough to get lost unless you do it on purpose.

:jester:

I hate the part down 138, it's just more freeway. Lone Pine Canyon is much more fun but you really need to mind your P's&Q's getting to it as you have to travel ever so briefly through a residential neighborhood.

Check it out on the map, dead straight and fairly steep grade to a 90° left at the bottom, makes for some fun. Leads right down to 138 with gas and food close at hand.

Like it matters, I usually turn around and run back 2 anyway, Glendale is closer to home than Ontario.

Attack14 04-20-2012 02:10 PM

I'm down to cruise with you guys. Just need a map haha

ZexGX 04-20-2012 02:11 PM

If I have the following two items installed by then, I will be down to participate in the fun:
Ford 9" rear end
New front tires

If not, I'll probably stay behind the Small White Car. Or just not go. You guys should hear how loud the differential on my car is.

BOOSTMONSTR 04-20-2012 06:47 PM

Good stuff. Weather you guys approve or not, I'll be bringing lots of SRT-4's...

No need for approval or permission around here. Whoever rolls in however many numbers is just the way it goes. Though of course I personally like it all large and mixed up for ACH. Bring it with the Skittles and S2ks, SWC will pony up the Miatas . and we usually get a good smattering of just about everything else.

Chuck 04-21-2012 09:32 AM

I am ready and excited. Let's do this Ben get the banner up and start cross promotion.

Leedom 04-21-2012 09:44 AM

The front plate is going to be properly showing for this cruise. Not taking the chance that I get another ticket for it this years. I had to drive all the way up to Pasadena to take care of the ticket last year.

Chuck 04-22-2012 07:54 AM

I have no front plate where is it suppose to go?

Why pasadena?

Small White Car 04-22-2012 11:12 AM

Because the ticket came from the USFS probably.

C5Natie 04-22-2012 10:09 PM

Sweet. Been waiting for this one. Its been a while since Ive been up to ACH. Should be fun.

Thats actually pretty rare. Ive seen dozens of sports cars up there with no front plates, including me. Luck of the draw I guess.

Because my address on my license was my condo that the ex is living at and did not get the paperwork to take care of it? So I had to go to Pasadena to take care of it.

Nope, CHP!

Damian 04-22-2012 11:07 PM

I'll be there for this one. Brakes are getting upgraded and rear sway bar is coming very soon. I don't want to be driving like a grandma for this one.

Vettezuki 04-23-2012 12:23 AM

Hopefully I'll be able to roll in the Vette for the first time in a while. It's much better than before, but she's still be a little bitch.

Damian 04-23-2012 12:32 AM

If not, I could always enjoy a copilot again.

There's an office in baldwin park right off the 10 at fransquito. No need to go to pasadena next time.

There will be no 'next time'!

:p

Shaolin Crane 04-23-2012 08:42 AM

He drives a bright yellow mustang, there will be a next time, for something.

Chuck 04-23-2012 07:28 PM

So what exactly happens if there is no place for a front plate from the factory on your car? are there any loopholes?

Redondo Jon 04-23-2012 08:12 PM

Chuck, just zip-tie the thing somewhere in the vicinity of the front bumper & you’ll be fine. I hope you won’t let a small detail like this keep you from going.

BOOSTMONSTR 04-23-2012 10:28 PM

They were waiting for us last time.... People at the store tipped them off..

Stay safe and legal and there is little 'they' can do.

SRS, I've been cruising ACH for a looong time and as long as you're not going full goose bozo up there, you will likely be left alone.

Damian 04-24-2012 11:07 AM

Just drive normal on the south half an you'll be fine.

I think the last thing LEO would want is any of us driving 'normal' up there.

:smack:

kdracer73 05-14-2012 11:17 AM

Frankie and I are a maybe, but most likely "not" at this time....
Her 83 yr old Dad was in a bad car accident last Sunday. He has been in a coma since last Monday morning.. All our current plans are on hold...

Shaolin Crane 05-14-2012 01:30 PM

Oh shit, hope he turns out ok.

Redondo Jon 05-14-2012 05:59 PM

I hope he’s going to be okay. Hang tough Frankie.

Chuck 05-14-2012 06:01 PM

Sorry to here that Courtney and I send our best regards.

Damian 05-14-2012 09:57 PM

Damn, hopefully he pulls through.

Vettezuki 05-14-2012 11:16 PM

Our thoughts are with you and Frankie. :( If there's anything I can do, running errands or whatever, let me know.

Leedom 05-15-2012 11:19 PM

Sorry to hear that Paul. Shannon and I will keep you, Frankie, and her father in our thoughts.
