Cleaning Fuel Tank?

I think my tank (82 Vette) has a bunch of junk in the bottom of it and it may have preciptated problems I've had. What's the common practice for cleaning an old tank? Just drain it and send it somewhere for a flush and maybe new lining?

Flush with MEK then have lined with new stuff i forget the name of but will find later.

Easy DIY or send out?

Cleaning is DIY, coating is a send out.

Just have both done by whoever you take it to.

They make DIY kits, with new lining you slosh around in there.
