I'm selling a 16ft car trailer if anyone is interested shoot me a PM. The trailer is super clean. I just went through and reconditioned it. It has new paint, wheels, lights, and wood floor. Whats the weigh capacity on it? I might be interested in procuring said trailer to haul around my car or fill with dirtbikes... My cobalt weighs about 2900lbs

I believe it was originally 5,000 lbs. The trailer tongue I put on is 6,000 lbs. I used it to tow my Fj40 which weighs 4,500 and my sons quad which is a couple hundred. I am selling it because I bought a new 20ft with a 7,000 lb. rating, so I can get the FJ40 and a couple quads on the trailer.

Ok cool... I won't be ready til probably next month but if it still available I am interested. Good luck with the sale either way.

He's in Rancho Cucamonga but is currently working nights. If you want to take a look at it I can show it to you.

Sounds good. The only thing Im worried about is if I have to tow the Mercedes which weighs in at 5,061lbs. Will this trailer be able to do it? Most of the time it will be used for a car that wieghs under 4000lbs though. Thanks!

With everything loaded on the trailer he was towing over 5,000lbs. so I don't see a problem with the Mercedes. We've even towed a 4x4 Suburban with 1 ton running gear on it but we had to remove the ramp.
