I want to do a track day at Fontana on the 3rd so my vote would have to be for the 4th. I'll be on vacation too though so its not 100%. On the 10th or 11th Im in for sure.

I vote for the 11th. I was planning to replace my intake manifold gasket on the 10th and tow my Vette up to Pasadena. Happy coincidence.

I forgot it was moms day too I have to go bbq some Korean ribs for my mom and grandmother so I guess I'm out too

Took a drive up to Newcomb Ranch today. Forgot how nice it was and how fast some parts of ACH can be. Never thought I'd see 120mph up there. Oops. Lol

I almost wonder if it would have been faster to take ACH back home. I went to stop at the mcdonalds when we got to the 15 and it was closed! And then the 15/60 interchange was also closed, with heavy traffic on the 91 west until it split with the 55. Oh well, we made it back after the lunch (whoops, lol) but we did manage to grab some flowers for mom.

I was talking to some other guys who were up on ACH saturday, and they said it was a little breezy. All the dirt and rocks on the road must have brewed up over night with those strong winds. Better luck next time? :sm_laughing:

I was thinking the same thing because I ended up in that same 91 / 55 traffic. Thankfully, it opened up passed that. I thought you did a good job leading the run though.

I was up there Friday and I could feel the loose dirt on the road. At first glance the road looked clean but I could feel the tires kicking up all the little pebbles. I still had decent grip so it probably got worse that night.

Oh man; look at all the crap hitting your windshield! It really was like driving through a rock quarry.
