Tour d’Orange 2016

No details yet but I’m in.

kdracer73 12-20-2015 08:00 PM

I'm in, with the Camaro club.

injdinjn 12-21-2015 06:39 PM

I'm interested, but the GP is down and the rustang overheats on long runs. That's why I am only interested in the last few legs and the end location.

Damian 12-21-2015 11:22 PM

Possibly.

Darkstar 12-23-2015 09:21 AM

Im in.

injdinjn 12-26-2015 01:08 PM

I hope I find out at least where the end point is. The rustang hasn't been out for a few years and needs to be seen again.

Redondo Jon 12-26-2015 07:56 PM

In past the tour has ended at The District in Tustin but the whole cruise, including the ending point, is subject to change at the last minute.

13TH ANNUAL “TOUR D’ORANGE”

Location
Red Hill at Fischer
300 Fischer Avenue - Costa Mesa
Details

Date/Time
Date(s) - 01/01/2016
6:00 am - 1:00 pm

Mark your calendars for this Annual Event. No signups needed. Meet Up will be at the corner of Red Hill and Fischer which is directly across from the event starting line. At about 7am we will drive as a group into the starting grid so we can all park together.

After a circuit of coastal and inland OC, the tour will end at the District Shopping Center in Irvine (corner of Jamboree and Barranca) where we will have lunch at the Red Robin restaurant.

To reach the tour starting point, which is near John Wayne airport:

-From the 405, exit MacArthur and turn north (away from the airport). In one block, left on Main Street, then about ¼ mile and left on Red Hill about ½ mile to turn left onto Fischer.

-From the 5 and points East, take the 55 freeway South. Exit at MacArthur, turn left under the freeway, then right on Red Hill. Proceed about one mile to Fischer and turn left.

injdinjn 12-30-2015 10:25 AM

Tour D' Orange 2016 new location

Looking forward to pics. There's an outside chance I'll make this next year. I'm somewhat less of a night person these days after moving to Riverside.

injdinjn 01-01-2016 01:05 PM

Kinda doubt it will end up at the district next year. Security was politely passing out flyers, "If you don't have permission don't gather here" and it stated that car club events were not welcome.

Redondo Jon 01-02-2016 03:23 PM

Wow. Business is that good at The District that they can tell everyone to fuck off & don’t come back.

LOL. I doubt they checked with In&Out, fiveguys or Red Robin but mgmt and their lawyers don't care about individual business profits.

County of Orange saw what a success Crusin for a Cure was at MCAS and jacked the use fees so high it was cheaper to move to the State owned Fairgrounds.
