Head Gasket Leak

My co-worker has a slight leak in his HG and was asking me if I had ever used a HG stop leak treatment. I have not for a HG but I did have a leak in my heater core years ago in the truck and tried son stuff with success. Have any of you out there used HG stop leak additives? If so, and it worked, do you remember the type you used?

I haven't tried it before but a lot of racers say Blue Devil is the best and works well at sealing up head gaskets.

That is the one my coworker was going to use.

Steer clear of that shit, it doesn't work and mucks up the cooling jackets. An egg, pepper or oatmeal all have been proven to work, I have used "others" and they did stop the minor leak, to find out nit too long later when I had to change it eventually anyhow that it completely clogged most of the block and ruined my water pump and radiator.
