Battle Los Angeles
Haven't seen a movie in a theater in a long time. This is a strong candidate. The sound design sounds like it might be awesome.

Doesn't look half bad.

For some strange reason, this is the first movie I've wanted to see in a theater for a while.

Reminds me a little bit of something Michio Kaku said regarding SETI. Maybe broadcasting our presence is not such a great idea. It is entirely plausible that there are intelligences in the Galaxy, let alone Universe, that are as far or further from us than we are to ants. . . . . They may not be all that nice.
On the up side I'd say we're far more likely to screw each other up than be wiped out by aliens. :judge: |
I think our first priority is to colonize the moon and Mars ASAP. It only a matter of when, not if, that this planet will experience a catastrophic impact from an asteroid or comet that will destroy the human race.
I do go to the movies fairly frequently. I like to go to the first showing of the day at Bella Terra for $7. I saw every movie when my daughter worked there because the ticket was free. Now I am a little more choosy. I will most likely go see Number 4 and Unknown this weekend. Bob |
Let me know how those two movies go, Unknown seems pretty good, kinda iffy about Number 4.
Battle LA looks pretty legit |
I'm down to see unknown

I saw unknown. I enjoyed the movie, but I thought it was a little predictable. I hope that Battle LA won't be like Skyline which sucked.

I went and saw Number 4. The trailer was false advertising. The Twilight demographics should enjoy the movie.
