FWD cars you wish were RWD
Don't be lazy and say everything - I want specifics. Here is some of my list:
Mini Cooper Coupe: With the turbo motor out of the S, I think a RWD version would be very entertaining ![]() Acura Integra Type-R: It's a cool car as is, but RWD would have made it a lot better. ![]() Dodge SRT4: Light weight, RWD, and easily modded turbo engine would have been a lot of win. ![]() MazdaSpeed3: Same as above, but this would actually be great with an AWD system as well. ![]() |
Chevy Cobalt SS.
Possibly the most boring looking good, perhaps truly great, performance value cars ever. ![]() Stock vs. stock I think it beats and Evo X in most categories, for rather less. (Hopefully I'm not confusing it with something else.) |

Even if that Speed3 was AWD like it big brother(Speed6) it would be awesome. Simple power mods to make the awd powerloss a non issue(like all STI owners do) and good god that would be a perfect car.

97-01 Avenger

I would love to take one of those Avengers, mount a solid axle and drop in a Hemi/ T56.

This company makes RWD conversion for OLD school minis. Hayabuse motor swapped minis are making high end exotics in Europe look silly. with a 6 speed sequential gear box. and 200hp (mor efun with Turbo). One fo the things i woudl love to do. The MS3 is great as a FWD. but you dont really need AWD in a FWD car till you are like hitting the 350-400hp mark. |

wow that is a sick lookin Mini Coupe!!! COUNT ME IN! I want one.
OK, I dig the integra with FWD, but the SRT4 would have been a MUCH better platform as a RWD or AWD car. I wish my car was RWD. SO badly. |
That's pretty funny that they're using a sprocket and a chain. That thing is basically a big quad isn't it?
