Was all set with everyone for ach. Oh well never been through palomar with y'all anyway. Looking forward to it.

steamwalker 04-02-2013 10:33 AM

I may be able to make this one depending upon time.

Ryridesmotox 04-02-2013 11:44 AM

Hey guys I know we usually meet at the park n ride there on 76 but the intersection there always messes up our group. If you go on the east side of the I-15 there is Pankey Road on the right. It dead ends in a big cul-de-sac and no one is ever there. We can probably meet up there. We would have no issues with lights or anything breaking up the group. Plus the park n ride is currently under construction and they eliminated a bunch of spots to make room for a bus ramp thing so parking there is getting limited.

steamwalker 04-02-2013 11:51 AM

I agree that that whole 76 overpass is a cluster and traffic backs up on it.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll post the route in a day or two.

I saw a post on other forums for ACH in April. Was there a change?

Yes. I have to update . . all 30+ :suicide:

C5Natie 04-02-2013 04:07 PM

Oops. Lol

Ryridesmotox 04-03-2013 12:53 AM

I'm not sure if I did this correct or not. Just trying to help out and show where the cul-de-sac is as opposed to the Park n Ride. As you can see it has quite a long road area that leads to it. And the cul de sac itself if quite large. Probably could accommodate like 60+ cars if we are all good at parallel parking lol. And the Mobile is still across the freeway for those that wish to fill up first.

Got it. Looks like a winner. Enough room for our likely group size, close to the main road, and out of the way enough to not draw too much attention form the heat.

Vettezuki 04-03-2013 01:22 AM

Anyone object to a 10:00am meet 11:00 am depart? I ain't coming out any earlier, it's not biologically possible. But I'm perfectly happy to meet later to much later.

duhveed 04-03-2013 09:39 AM

gonna try and make this its been a while since I've been to Palomar

Ryridesmotox 04-03-2013 03:38 PM

Woot David is gonna bring the Z06! Or are you gonna bring the sonic?

steamwalker 04-03-2013 04:09 PM

Later would be better for me as I had a company banquet the night before. No 6AM stuff.

That ain't gonna happen. What about a 2:00pm meet. 3:00pm leave. That puts us near the restaurant around 5:00 depending on other factors. Nice early evening BBQ?

Please speak up if you have an opinion!

BOOSTMONSTR 04-04-2013 10:02 AM

I'm game for anytime of day, but need the info quick, to get the word out...

Let's split the difference. Meet at 11:00, leave at noon. This is late enough for us who aren't morning people and early enough not to take up the whole afternoon/evening.

steamwalker 04-04-2013 02:23 PM

That might work for me.

Ryridesmotox 04-05-2013 09:19 AM

I posted it up on a Cadillac forum. Hopefully some people show up.

Vettezuki 04-05-2013 11:06 AM

Word. I'll get it out to all the regulars tonight.

Vettezuki 04-07-2013 09:34 PM

Updated the OP. Pushing out to sites now.

Here's the event on the book of faces.

Have fun guys. Looks like a fun route. Just a bit too far for me.

Shaolin Crane 04-10-2013 08:23 AM

I'll be at Formula D

Damian 04-11-2013 10:14 AM

Couple hours. You could be back to Fullerton by 5.

Damian 04-11-2013 02:32 PM

I'm at 18psi by about 2700-2800rpms, but it feels amazing when you get there. I have a 2400 stall, so it's not bad at all.

I might go then. Probably bring everyone or just my daughter again. Daughter only would be a better choice.

mustangray 04-11-2013 11:17 PM

I probably won't be there (I have to help move some Koreans) but a hand full of Mustangs might show from the responce on the forum

kdracer73 04-12-2013 07:11 PM

Well, my trans felt a little funny this week. So I just pulled it in and drained a sample of ATF. Looks like Candy Apple red metal flake from a 64 Impala lowrider...I am out:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang :

SD98C5 04-13-2013 06:20 AM

ill be there

shutter 04-13-2013 03:43 PM

Ill be there.

Anyone from sd wanna meet up before spot "a"? Like somewhere off the 15?

I've been trying to get a few cars together from the frs forum, but so far no luck

mustangray 04-13-2013 03:57 PM

I have a few guys from the mustang forum that want to meet up before point "A" so let me know of a place and I'll pass it on

Vettezuki 04-13-2013 05:11 PM

BTW, could any of you fellas going for sure ping me with your cell phone numbers. I'm taking the Vette, and this will be the first longer trip she's been on in a while. Translation: she might not make it, so I want to be able to inform people of said should it happen.

Is the shell station at 780 w el Norte parkway out of the way for you?

Cause I was thinking of having a quick meetup in Clairemont, and then caravan(if I can get anyone lol-haven't had many responses from people wanting to caravan) to Escondido somewhere, and then to location "A"

I think the shell station is good do have a time you want to meet

shutter 04-13-2013 09:52 PM

For those possibly going, I will be stopping at 2 locations before the first meeting spot("A")
The first is in Clairemont, at the USA gas station in Barclay square

4202 Clairemont Mesa Blvd
San Diego, CA 92117

I will get here around, 10am, and depart at 1015am

Then, I will be stopping at shell, right off the 15fwy at 1030-1045, and be departing there around 1100-1115.

780 W El Norte Pkwy
Escondido, CA 92026

After that I will go to spot "A"
