What was the first album you bought?
 
Mine was RIO from Duran Duran. I still remember the lawn I mowed to buy it. I think I was somewhere around 10. Yes, I know I used the word album. For you younger guys substitute CD, which is also about defunct.

I got a box of zeppelin records from my dad, but the first album i ever bought was either Seal or deep Purple's machine head, but i'll go with the latter since its less embarrassing lol

My first album(33) was Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" @ age 12 which I still have.

My first 45 was Don McLean's "American Pie" @ age 10
