If you could have any one car...
What would it be and why? The rules are that you can't sell it and it's yours forever. The car has to be street legal in the United States
My choice would be the McLaren F1 LM. I feel like it's the most pure supercar every built and beautiful too. |
I would have a Saleen S7 twin turbo in blue.
My wife would have a Ford GT with the Heritage paint scheme. |
Your image got hosed Ron, I hope that's the same color. Solid choices by the way. I think Sonic03SVT would choose the exact same car as your wife.

I can get close: Caparo T1 - my 2nd choice. It's only street legal in Europe though I think. |

It is more of a kit car, but it's not technically because it's a DOT approved 'production' vehicle.
The interior is not refined. Not comfortable, I wouldn't want to drive it cross country. Unless I was on a gumball rally. |

OH my bad I forgot about this thread... This is my favorite car. The Be All End All. Not as pricy as a Bughatti or anything of that nature... but it'll take about 30k to make it USA Legal by spec. 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R Uh Oh... remembered one more. Hope i never have to pick... 1969 Camaro SS http://www.flickr.com/photos/buglugs/1705888708/ |

Audi R8 V10.
It's not the fastest on the planet, but it has daily street ability, great looks, and plenty of power. It's a modest choice, in comparison to those in this thread, but given the criteria (can never sell it, etc), it's my top pick. :) http://images.nextnewnetworks.com/14166.jpg |

Anywho, the first time I saw this it was VERY ho-hum. The basic lines were there, but no finesse . . . no art. It's looking damn good, just in time to be relegated to the pages of what if. :( |

Funny. My brother in law has a Cord. Well...after a fashion. Seems his father was restoring an "old car" and then when he passed, nobody in the family knew what to do with it. When i went out there to visit, he knew i was a car guy, and showed me his "old car". Its a mid 30s cord, as it happens. Still sitting there, id say its 85% there, just mostly disassembled. They just dont know what to do with it or how to put it back together. This summer ill mess with it a bit, ill try to dig up some pictures for you folks.
And to answer the question. Heritage paint Ford GT + whipple, unless someone wants to let me drive an actual GT40 MK1, ill take chassis 1075 please. |
