Let us know how it goes. I'm really interested to see if it makes any difference. Not that it matters for me because I installed an aluminum driveshaft when I went with the T56 but I want to see how close you come to their claim of 2 tenths.

the box it came in was amazing. all pads in different layers. i almost put the padding into my pillow because it was so soft..

OK guys here we go..

i run up to Cecil Raceway at 630pm.. its 78* and the Humidity is high because a storm was right around the corner.

i run the car right off the street not letting it cool down but did lower the DR's down to about 19psi..

the car ran (12.17 at 114.8)

NOW if you look at the two passes below, my best runs at Cecil are those. these passes were on different days in March with temps in the high 40's with only about 50% humidity

the car drop almost 3mph and 1tenth between the days in question.. SO
after looking at my 60ft times and taking into effect the weather for tonight i think the DS did pick up a little ET..

what do you guys think? If the temps were cooler and the MPH was back in the 116 to 117mph the ET would have dropped. the 60ft times are really close (1.89 tonight to a 1.86 and 1.87 other runs).
my best time was at MIR so im not even looking at that ET, that is why i went back to my local track. i really wont know the true increase until the temps are back down, but by then i will have the converter installed.

thanks guys
Mike

Nice man! Glad it made a difference. 11s are juuust around the corner. Higher stall should get you there!

Thanks but the car has been 11.8s all ready out here. I'm hoping with the stall and DS to get into the 11.3s.

Oh, it looked like you were saying you went from 12.2 to 12.1 after the DS

nordy racer 05-25-2013 05:23 AM

went racing last night because we had freaky cold temps in the 50s and my best ETs at my home track were in the same temps.. please see below..

let me start by posting two time slips from a couple of runs months before with the stock DS installed.. the temps and track were also most the same as last night.

now these runs below are from last night. my 60fts are the same and you can see an increase in ET and MPH because of the DS.

so the drive shift DID pick up 1 tenth and about 2mph in the 1/4 mile.. well worth it for $599 and knowning that i have a great 1 piece DS under my car.
