Something is missing from this pic...............

Shaolin Crane 03-21-2012 10:36 AM

Blower and PS pump. Mounted the PS pump this morning, blower will be left off while breaking in the engine and clutch. I have the stock injectors, intake tube and MAF and once i feel comfortable with the break in, i'll bolt on the blower for tuning. Hopefully Jamie lets me make a pass or two on the dyno at work for some n/a baseline pulls before tuning. We will see.

Shaolin Crane 04-04-2012 12:12 PM

Look what came for me yesterday...

Damian 04-04-2012 01:56 PM

Chassis bracing?

Shaolin Crane 04-04-2012 02:18 PM

Panhard bar.

blackax 04-04-2012 03:57 PM

Looking good. So when do you think you will start her up for the first time?

Shaolin Crane 04-04-2012 05:42 PM

Tough to say, my painter is going through some work changes, so i'm thinking it wont happen until the end of the month.

I dont have everything for the car quite yet, i need need axles, brake components and subframe connectors. Ron has a few parts I need, the others are highly desireable so likely i'll buy them new.

Shaolin Crane 04-18-2012 01:17 PM

I've been trying to update, here are the oil lines for the blower.

Fitting for the pan

AN fittings on the blower

blackax 04-18-2012 04:10 PM

That looks really nice. I need to make a few oil likes myself.

joedls 04-18-2012 06:58 PM

Looking good Guy! So when is the paint going on?

Shaolin Crane 04-23-2012 08:18 AM

I dont want to put a date on it. Every time i do it gets pushed back. Next weekend is supposed to be the day.

Shaolin Crane 05-08-2012 10:38 AM

Almost one year and still not done :(
Just been doing tinker shit, blasted the spindles and made them look all purdy, still trying to track down all the interior goodies. Paint is going to happen, eventually i guess.

94cobra69ss396 05-08-2012 10:43 AM

Don't rush it and you'll be happier with the end results. So far it is looking great!

fiveohwblow 05-08-2012 04:13 PM

You should just quit.

There's rushing, and then there's sitting with your thumb up your ass. I've passed the latter a long time ago, everything is ready for installation. I could have it running in a few hours if i got it back already.

Shaolin Crane 05-08-2012 09:40 PM

pics i've been meaning to post

Shaolin Crane 05-21-2012 12:56 AM

Air soft gun anyone?

I shot this dumb black cat right in the face last week when he walked in front of my door... They know not to walk on my property.

Shaolin Crane 05-22-2012 08:00 AM

Dude i took a 3 wood to one of them, doesnt make a difference when there are 15-20 stray cats cause of the park behind us. I'd have to give them all an attitude adjustment. Just not possible, few times i thought about capping them with the 9mm.

blackax 05-22-2012 08:26 AM

I love cats, But sometimes they can really be a pain in the ass. We should take bets to see how long the car can stay cat free. I say 3 days before the first one get in.

I'll go 2

Shaolin Crane 05-22-2012 09:26 AM

The doors are on so the only area they can get in is the engine bay, which i'm fine with. Just the interior is what i want them to stay away from.

fiveohwblow 05-22-2012 09:59 AM

*spreads catnip on seats*

Don't worry bro, I'm sure they have NOOO reason to get inside your car.

Shaolin Crane 05-22-2012 10:01 AM

There's no interior in it now, honestly the main reason for wrapping it is to keep them from peeing on the fresh primer and body work. Everything else i'd rather deal with then that.

fiveohwblow 05-22-2012 02:24 PM

Shaolin Crane 05-29-2012 11:56 AM

Fox length 31sp axles on the way, 8.8 bearing kit on the way, weight jacker MM controls arms for $200 and some interior parts on the way as well.

I also updated the first post with the parts list and changed the title to make it more enticing for new readers
