I just listened to it. Your car sounds great!!

It's still anyones game, I still have a ton of wire clean up and interior to do, not to mention all the wiring that's still not done. Thanks man, I appreciate the compliment as well as the mufflers.

Yeah, that's why I got rid of those mufflers. I switched them out the first week I had the car. Too quiet for me.

As does every other s197 owner, honestly i'd like to have a set of magnaflow's or bassani's But I want this car to be quiet and comfortable. It's plenty loud for a "inconspicuous" DD. Dumps on foxes are dronetastic so I want to eliminate that.

Really? How'd it blow up?

Shaolin Crane 03-22-2013 08:10 PM

Dunno, haven't touched it in almost a month. Sure as hell sounds like its got a hole in a piston or two. Changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc and still barely runs. Clap clap clap clap....

Forgot about this thread, sexy!

You blew up your motor Guy? Which car? If you have a hole in the piston your crankcase vent will puff like a steam engine. Ask me how I know... twice... yup.
