Apparently just the right angle at the right amount of effort to pop it out. Took about 30 minutes to snap it back in.

Shaolin Crane 08-14-2013 09:28 AM

It's Guy, he tied his arm to the bumper of a truck, then had someone kick him in the balls as someone else punched him in the face and the driver punched the gas!

About right. I stepped on my palm to pull it straight then used my body weight to force it back in, then used a doorjamb to finish it.

Good news is I can finally move my arm, sore as fuck, might have to get surgery this time. :(

German/Italian.

94cobra69ss396 08-14-2013 09:55 AM

That's crazy! The only thing I've ever dislocated was my finger playing basketball. I just grabbed it and pulled it out and it went back in place. It hurt more relocating it than it did when it happened. I couldn't imagine how much yours must hurt.

This has happened a few dozen times so i've gotten pretty good at getting it back in. This time the joint slipped into my lat so it was pretty difficult to get it back in place. I may have torn or compressed my axillary nerve cause the pain has not gone away this time.

Me too, ring finger got caught in a jet ski tow rope.

enkeivette 08-14-2013 10:22 AM

Ouch Guy... ouch. I would have been screaming for awhile. Can't believe you had the balls to relocate it yourself

Didn't have a choice, my arm was stuck above my head and I had drunk people to drive home.

My original shoulder inury happened in 7th grade playing football. Walking back after a play was over I got hit from behind and it broke, 1 year till I could move it again.

Shaolin Crane 08-14-2013 09:13 PM

Definitely think I stretched my axillaryy nerve. If I press the surface of my deltoid/pec I can lift my arm but not flex my deltoid and the pain subsides. Might not need surgery afterall, we'll see what the MRI says in 2 weeks.

You could just go full guy and cut it off. I saw a movie once where the dude did it and he was instantly famous and rich. Do it.

Shaolin Crane 08-14-2013 11:33 PM

Either way I am nowhere near training soon, I will have to submit my freeze waiver for CHP until I am healed or have surgery.

Not cool

Shaolin Crane 08-14-2013 11:56 PM

No it's not, such is karma.

enkeivette 08-15-2013 09:24 AM

How do you guys surf this forum on tapatalk? If I use the participated column, I only see shit I've already participated in, which cause me to respond to Guy's threads 4 months too late. If I use the 'view all' or 'view unread' I only see 16,000 RSS posts. The only alternative I see is surfing each individual subsection.

Shaolin Crane 08-15-2013 11:01 AM

I do not use poopietalk.

I check it a couple times a day and only browse all threads... Once I've responded and or read to the ones I want I check all threads read to avoid clutter.

Shaolin Crane 08-15-2013 08:19 PM

Well I fucked up pretty good today, mailed in my packet for CHP and realized when I got back from the mail store that I left half of the packet on my desk. Now I get to drive down there and hand deliver it, under scrutiny, awesome.
