End of the Night - The Doors
Many fond memories of listening to Doors albums over and over during my HS years. |

Yes, that would be 10 "DISCS" of Compact Digital Audio that is read with a laser light using two channels of 44.1-kHz 16-bit linear PCM for audio play back. :p |

"Joey" - Bob Dylan from the album Desire. What a great story teller.
My favorite Dylan album, though I'm no expert. |
Honey Bucket - The Melvins
I think will do a Project Car based on this song someday. A vicious nasty black/yellow Gen II Camaro. |
I guess this is kinda my own thread. Ah well. I wish some of you would turn me on to some new music, or remind of some bomb classics. Today my lil' bro played some Dredg. Never heard of them. But . .
Dredg - Sang Real from Catch Without Arms My god, there's an actual modulation and something like a development at one point. Shocking ;) |
Led Zeppelin-- nothing more need be said.:p
Guess Who-- American Woman:thumbs_up: |
The Doors- Soft Parade:
Guess Who - No Surger Tonight Super Tramp - Breakfast In America album Pink Floyd -Brain Damage |
Chamber Brothers---"Time Has Come Today"

Kid Rock - All Summer Long

Thanks guys, there's a couple tunes in there I didn't know. Good call on Soft Parade Joe, one of my favorite albums.
Me? Piano Man - Billy Joel One of the greatest songs ever written IMO. |
Indian Summer - Doors
Reminds me of a time from my HS days. Music is the best. |
Ave Maria - Franz Biebl
The recordings in these vids kinda suck, but you get the idea. Here it live with full chorus and it's pretty dynamite. |
Thursday - Marches and Manuevers
|
Queensryche Jet City Woman. 80's power hour on 96.7Kcal today.....

"Waiting on a friend" - Rolling Stones
Totally forgot about this song. Music is the best. I was in the perfect mood to hear this song. Like drugs with out the expense or pesky side effects. |

Doves - Break Me Gently
Doves - Winter Hill |
Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence
This is a pretty cool movie from the 80s, including David Bowie. The composer of this track is actually the young officer. The bald guy at the end is one of my favorite Japanese "personalities", commonly known as Beat Takeshi. The guy is a bit of a genius, having written many interesting movies himself, acting in them, and a painter. He's also the creator of Takeshi Jo (Takeshi's Castle). Like Wipe Out? Well, this is the original from long ago and far away. |

I was venturing out past the wire on Rhapsody and stumbled across these guys. Cool!
Check out this copy: Calexico includes members of ragged country punks Giant Sand and OP8. Their music is the desolate sound of waking up alone in a deserted border town with only a pack mule and a half-empty bottle of Mezcal to keep you company. Lonely, desert-soaked ballads filled with Flamenco guitars and flashes of the best moments of Sergio Leone's Spaghetti westerns abound in Calexico's sound, while sublime hints of a distant mariachi band and the weeping notes of a pedal steel intertwine with the squeeze of an accordion. Joey Burns' hushed vocal will bring you to a dusty, heartbroken land of caballeros and bandidos. If Lee Marvin were still with us today, he'd be a Calexico fan. - Eric Shea" |
