Cool. I still remember learning bits of Midnight when I was a youngster.

Classical guitar is my background, and yeah, you can forget about playing most of that standing up, so I know where he's coming from on things being too difficult to play standing up.

Kinda like this new tune. Seems like a nice girl too.

Love me some jungle drums. Remember? There was some evolution of video technique in the intervening years.

Old school.

I think this is some of the best drum work. Old school Jazz. Original recording of Benny Goodman and Sing, Sing, Sing 1937 9 minute jam with Gene Krupa on the drums.

Modern cover by the Swing Girls.

Butch Miles on the drums.

The Clash were such a great band, and Combat Rock an awesome album.

The same feel was used for a track in Slumdog Millionaire, yet another movie I want to see.

If you like the "Straight to Hell" sort of feel you should listen to some of the stuff Joe did with the Mescalaros before he passed (RIP).

As for me, I'm a big Sandanista fan. "The Call Up" is probably my favorite track off the album.

Two cool points if you can tell me the significance of that title 'Take Five'.

As for me, a little funky this afternoon...
