We could sure use more Cad CTS-V's, STS-V's, & turbo Buicks at this show. We've got 9 turbo Buicks and 8 Cads signed up so far, in addition to about 100+ other Buicks, Oldsmobiles, & Pontiacs. Above noted Cads are in for free as they are not being judged, only on display.

I just posted this on TurboBuick.com:
Disheartening news, to say the least, but I was told originally that the Cads could park with us as we are already parking in an adjacent lot to the main portion of the car show and not in the main car show parking lot. I am not about to ask the owner of a $70K new selling priced car to park their prized possession in the street. As a consequence, I am not sure if I am going to enter my turbo Buick in the show, if I am going but walking the show, or if I am not going at all. I know that to some of you guys it doesn't matter whether the Cads park in the street or not, but I am interested in everybody's opinion regarding the change of events and who's going.

This is a copy of the E-mail that I received.

"Parking for Caddies at the Car Show‏

Gary, This is the latest information concerning the show. Only the B.O.P. cars can park in the lots used for the car show. The Caddies will have to park in the street adjacent to the lot where the Turbo Buick's will be parked. I hope this works out ok for your guys.
Gary Martin"

Are we just parking in the street along with the regular visitors of the show or are we still on display but in a different area?

Bob:
I will pose this query to Gary Martin and see what he says. From the way that he worded his E-mail, the Cads will park along the the street if front of or to the side of where the turbo Buicks are parking inside the lot, but that is only my interpretation.

Gary Wells 10-08-2010 10:33 AM

OK, just got off the phone with Gary Martin, and all's well with the world again. He explained that the change was due to insurance requirements & release forms, but that the Cads would have a nice spot in the street directly adjacent to the turbo Buicks and will be only a few feet away from the Turbo Buicks. They are going to cone off that area in the street so only the Caddys can park and be on display there. I think that it will all work out well and be a great show. I will be there as originally planned with the turbo Buick.

Sounds good to me. See you there Sunday.

Glad to hear that you will be there, John.

Gary Wells 10-08-2010 01:14 PM

I'm thinking that this will really be a great show. About 100 Buicks, Oldsmobiles, & Pontiacs to check out not to mention the turbo Buicks and the Cad CTS-V & STS-V heavy muscle. Looking forward to seeing everybody there.
