A new 5.0 sounds kinda good right now.

I'm still a LS guy, but the 5.0 is awesome. Guys are getting mid 400's on GTs with bolt-on parts. Can't really complain a out run ing 11's N/A on the cheap.

Is there a lot done to your car aside from engine upgrades? If not, it might make the most sense to drop an ebay motor in there, sell it, and go with a new 5.0 Mustang.

How did you like the TrueTrac? That is what I was planning on putting in the Mach.

No problems with the TrueTrac. Worked just like it was supposed to.

Oh shit, well if you can find a donor, shouldnt be too difficult to get it to smog as a newer Mustang

All those parts should fit on a new 5.0...

Thats interesting, and you could probably trade off with the stock parts on a 5.0. Either way would work.

enkeivette 06-10-2013 09:46 AM

But ya, those new GT engines are fast as fuck. Ive driven one. I cant believe stock cars are getting as fast as they are. Its making life more difficult for anyone with a 5+ year old tuner car.
