I've always done that, guess I should troll some new sites to increase the replies !!

In the planning thread for the cruise after we all agree on location, date, and time a banner and info post should be made (still up to the task Ben?). (I'm also not sure if my post just made grammatical sense. It's 4 AM and my mind is playing tricks on me.)

Yes. It's no big deal to make a banner, a thread, etc. What I basically meant is I can't go out and monitor a bnch of sites, or necessarily even regularly attend/document cruises with other stuff going on. That's all really.

I can make one within today for January 8 (our traditional "second Sunday") for Ortega as Redondo Jon suggested.

I think it's a little late for a second Sunday. We need about 2-3 weeks in advance to give people notice and get a good turnout. How about just a meet at Nick's or some other place this month where we can discuss a cruise for February?

Lets do an ACH cruise.

We'll have to be lucky with our date planning because if it rains down here it'll snow up there.

By the way, I don’t think we need two to three weeks’ notice for a cruise. :worf:

Just remember:

SR 2 (ACH)
[IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA]
IS CLOSED FROM THE ISLIP SADDLE TO 5 MI WEST OF BIG PINES (LOS ANGELES CO)
- FOR THE WINTER - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE

It is a up and back route-not all the way through.

Depends, if you do the Big T/Nine Mile or AFH to ACH and out you can still run a loop although I'm not sure if Nine Mile is open yet.

Islip Saddle is a good long run and is a good size gathering spot, it's where 39 used to hit 2.

I think a good Nick's meet would be nice for right after the new year. I also think we need more then a week's notice for a real cruise.
