My best with the 302 was an 11.69 @ 118 but that was with a different suspension than I have now. With this suspension my best was in the 11.80's. I also ran 26x11.5x17 MT ET Street slicks and dropped the clutch at 6000 rpms when I ran the 11.69.

Here's the video that has the 11.69 in it. Also, that Chevelle is my Chevelle. It was the first time back at the track after I installed the MSD ignition and I was trying to get the timing set right so that it would run the same times as it did with the old Mallory stuff. I had to advance the timing from 36 to 42 degrees.

Youve got some damn fast cars Ron. I wonder how your stroker will do. Theres guys out there in supercars that couldnt pin you down in a street race, something to be proud of.

And Im taking that to mean, my 11 second approximation for Guy's Fox was pretty decent. Dont see how he would be at least 7/10ths faster than Rons Cobra.

Because fox. You didn't know?

I dont know much about Foxes, but unless theyre 800lbs lighter than 4th gens, that aint no 10 second car son. Unless youre just using a dyno calculator.

LOL. I have several buddy's with sub 500@ rwhp foxes making 10 second passes. More turbo guys than anything but to be fair they have the right suspension for drag only application. Guy should be close considering he should have substantially more than 500 rwhp, and I also assume his weight is less than you think. Factory GT's were a hair over 3100 and I believe guy has done some lightening. I'm merely playing in this thread as its tbe bs thread, but I believe you'll be surprised. There's a reason every redneck in America has purchased a 5.0 at some time or another. Cheap to go fast, and cheap.

I don't think Guy's Mustang will be in the 10's but his Fox is lighter. The Cobra is a little over 3600lbs with me in it and I only have 3.55 gears. I'm not sure what my Cobra will run when the tune is finished but I'm guessing at around 11.50-11.40 at around 122-123. We'll see one day when they open Fontana back up.

As Guys Mustang sits right now it will only run as fast as his truck can pull it, 20.00 maybe?

This made me lulz. Since i'm strained on time, you want to do a compression test while I do the a/c on the burban?
