There are only two companies that legal boxes that I know of, Taylor and Moroso. I have the Taylor box in both the Chevelle and Cobra. For it to be legal, you have to have an external shut off switch that will kill the engine in case of a crash. I have the taylor one too, just have to make sure the charge line goes to the "out" portion of the shutoff switch, also putting a breaker inline on the charge line is a very good idea. I got one from graingers thats 150a and resettable for $30

I did it all by my lonesome. Only took me three nights (4.5 hours or so). You have to take apart a bunch of crap and of course everything fights you.
