-Will repay TARP money by 2014
-6.4L Hemi coming for the Challenger/Charger/300C rated at around 475hp.
-New Pentastar 3.6L DOHC V6 replacing basically all the current V6's they offer. It will come in N/A, single turbo, and twin turbo forms.
-Dual Clutch Transmissions coming soon. 4 speed auto's being phased out completely.
-Diesel Wrangler coming out in 2010!
-500 Special Edition Vipers and then a year off before a new model comes out in 2012(possibly called Viper, possibly not).
-Challenger remains and gets updated for 2011 MY.

2011 Chrysler 300C:
* SRT-8s were expected to eventually use a production version of the 392 (6.4) Hemi with about 450-475 hp and MDS for better gas mileage. This still appears to be in the works.
* The 300C was to be used as the basis for three Mercedes classes: E, CLS, and R (starting in 2010-2012). We don’t know that status of that deal.
* The Challenger convertible is on indefinite hold. The Imperial seems to be dead for the moment.
* “Dodgeguy1961” reported the following engine
list for the Chrysler 300 and 300C.
o 3.0 liter Phoenix V6 (possibly for export)
o 3.0 liter Mercedes turbodiesel V6 — same as the current version — possibly export-only
o 3.6 liter Phoenix V6 — we’d guess around 280 hp
o 5.7 liter Hemi MDS/VCT — we’d guess around 340-380 hp
o 6.4 liter Hemi (SRT) — we’d guess around 440-470 hp
* Transmissions are unknown and may not have been decided on. We expect the diesel to have a Mercedes five-speed automatic, as it will in the Grand Cherokee. Unless a surprise pops up, we’ve been told to expect the five-speed Mercedes automatic with the Hemi.

There are now two American auto companies, and that makes me mui happy. Who knows, my next sports car might just be a Viper. From a different POV, the Circuit is pretty cool too.

I can still see the images?

I think a Wrangler diesel would be really slick :)

The 200C is gorgeous and would be awesome with RWD and Turbo 6 engines.

The new 300C isn't that exciting in my opinion.

I like the new Grand Cherokee design.

The photoshops of the Charger aren't very attractive. The red side shot looks promising though.

Images blocked here too, who else is going to repay their debt?

How strange, I could still see them. Anyway, I've updated them to images on our server.

The 200C is only about 1000x cooler than the 300C, and that Charger is a big improvement.

I agree on the 200C - I think it's the best looking Chrysler sedan I've ever seen.

I can now see the photos. The 200c reminds me a lot of Audi designs. Nice.

You mean what other entities that received TARP funds intend to pay them back? Good question. I think at least some banks are repaying them back as quickly as possible to get away from the Federal Strings attached, but I don't know that much about the details. . . As for the Big 3 GM and Chrysler took TARP funds, and only Chrysler has announced their intention to repay. My questions and suggestions to GM have never been answered. I guess they don't want my money anymore.

IIRC the current 300C is based on the E series MB chassis from the 90's using the previous gen MB tranny.

They need to combine the cross grille and headlights from the first with the bumper in the other drawing.

So, if Chrysler pays off the TARP money, does that get rid of the Federal Government as a shareholder? What about the UAW? Don't they also own a big piece of it?

There were debt for equity swaps as part of the BK, that's where the UAW and the Canadian government came in. The TARP funds were a separate infusion of cash, as I understand it, for operational expenses. Therefore, unless Chrysler itself set out to buy back shares, the UAW and Government(s) would still be equity holders. If I were them, I'd buy out at least Union shares as rapidly as possible. This is my understanding. It may not be correct.
