November Monthly Motorgen Meet at Nick's Burger in Fullerton. The meet starts at 6:30p.m. A great mix of domestic, import, and euro. Everyone is welcome - the food is good and it's a great group of people!
The address for Nick's is:
Nick's Burger
1712 W. Orangethorpe Ave
Fullerton, CA 92833
I think it's time to do a cruise again before the meet. Let's do Turnbull Canyon! If you want to cruise, meet at the lot across the street from Nick's at 4:00p.m. We'll leave around 4:30p.m. This is the address of the Little Caesar's in the parking lot where we'll meet:
Little Caesars Pizza
1737 W. Orangethorpe Avenue
Fullerton, CA 92833
We should finish the cruise just in time to get back to Nick's for the meet and dinner at 6:30p.m. If you have a car, you're welcome to stop by. We're looking for as much variety as possible. Everyone is welcome!
Updated event. (http://www.motorgen.com/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=1256&day=2009-11-14&c=1)

Pick something that we can cut loose on. I going to buttonwillow this weekend, but my next event after that will be Watkins Glen in April. So I'm all about setting the bar.

You coming up homie? Turnbull is short, but very tight/technical, 1st and 2nd all the way, so maybe that's not what you're referring to when saying "cut loose".

I'll check later tonight. Should be somewhere here in the forums as well. I remember there was a simplification we could have made, but it's a bit fuzzy what it was and you'd have to check it. I'll see what I can find later.

Back might be more enjoyable. Most of the fun turns were down going downhill last time. Uphill allows a bit more fun =p

Grasshopper, let me show you the way. I'm an experienced professional.
Vettezuki's rules for mitigating the consequences of excessive drinking on a work night. I'm not an alcoholic, but my work takes me to Europe and Japan where drinking, sometimes quite a lot, is part of regular business. Throw in jet lag and you have yourself a challenge.
1 . PACE yourself. You can put away quite a lot over time. If you binge you're just poisoning yourself and there's no magic bullet for that.
2 . HYDRATE. You need to have at least 8oz of water per 1 oz of alcohol. That's extra. Alcohol is a diuretic and a lot of that crappy feeling you get from too much drinking is basically dehydration. Something with electrolytes is good as it will help retain water in your cells.
3. Do NOT go to sleep drunk. Don't really know why, but just trust me on this one. Makes a big difference.
4. Take a nice hot bath or shower before going to bed. Simply helps with relaxing and sleeping better.
5. Take some of your favorite pain killer before going to bed and when you wake up. If Tylenol do NOT take while still under the effects of alcohol as it can literally destroy your liver.
6. Eat a good breakfast, even if you don't feel so hot. It's a huge mistake not to eat just because you feel a little queezy.
7. Hit the coffee if you can tolerate it to compensate for the damage you did the night before.
This is not a great way to live, but if you find yourself in trouble on an late night and you have to work the next day, these rules can make the difference between real misery and something vaguely tolerable.
NEVER EVER over drink on a travel day. If you do, you might get to know a living hell.
And obviously, it's best not to over drink, or drink at all for that matter.

No can do on skyline. Fire road. On the south side, can only go as far as suncrest ct. driving north direction, then Closed. Only way I know is to take colima to fullerton rd. and come back over that way.

Tonight is the first Motorgen meet that 99BlownSScamaro & Heypal have to display or wear their NY YANKEES hats.Since I can't make the meet tonight can someone take pictures of them with their hats and post them on Motorgen. If they don't show up or show up without their hats than I (and if Sean agrees) think Ben(Vettezuki)should make up a rule for the consequences of not adhering to the bet.
PS
The Yankees now have 27 RINGS!!!!!!

I have a White 04 Cobra currently. Just normal mods - intake, midpipe, exhaust, pulley and tune. It put down 454rwhp and 462rwtq (http://www.motorgen.com/pic/data/500/Cobradynojpg-1.jpg) last time I had it on the dyno.

Cool, when I'm less of a danger to society (and myself) I'll take El Bandito (http://motorgen.com/garage/showvehicle.php?vid=213) on a cruise instead of the Vette.

What did you have done to it now?
Sorry I missed all the fun!
Nothing crazy, trying some things that not too many people have bothered to try with a stock 5.7 regarding air flow.
The real issue has been my ECM. Ever since the dealer re-flashed it when I was in a fender bender last Christmas she hasn't quite been the same. It won't hold a tune, just dumps it back in the tuner.
The same CMR tune that was done by Dyno Steve dropped 25HP 2 months later in better conditions?...:bang:
I'm about ready to buy her a helmet, and try to keep her (the Car)
from licking her ear!
And I / we just figured out enough to get her back on the road last night!
I need something to cruise to before next month.....
