So I have a meeting in Tustin today. It starts at 8:00a.m. The location is less than 10 miles away. I left at about 7:05a.m. or so. I pulled up to the building at 8:08a.m. :censored::censored::censored:
There was an accident at the 55/5 interchange and traffic was at a standstill THE ENTIRE WAY. I thus missed my meeting and came straight to the branch. For the record it's about the same distance from Tustin to the branch and it took me about 9 minutes. F$%# California Traffic :judge:
I seriously want to punch a hole through the wall right now.

The only side street is Tustin - it's usually not faster. It might have been today though...

That route is the worst, and it's especially bad when there is beach traffic.

You know, from where you are, you could probably take the bike trail along the Santa Ana River and make decent time.

Dont feel bad, sometimes it takes me 2 hours to get to work. But an hour to go 10 miles is pretty bad.

That sucks Sean. You know I hit traffic on my way to the office this morning too. The cat was laying on the floor in the hallway so it took me about .5 seconds longer than it normally takes.

I had two piles of crap I had to walk around on my way to work. Instead of taking me 2 minutes it took 2 minutes 3 seconds to get to work.:rolling::judge::judge:

To top it all off I call the City at around 1:30 to make sure he is coming and they inform me that they can't call him until he is late so she tells me to call back at 3:15. So 3:15 rolls around I call back only to find out he is not going to make it. So now I just sat there all day for nothing what a waist of a day F:censored:ng S:censored:t I am not happy.

When I was 18, I drove on the 57 for the first time. I went 75 the whole way, and only saw one car. It was like that for 2-3 weeks before people realised it was open. It was sweet.
My father and I used to drive home on Sunday from fishing thru the Santa Ana Canyon when it was a divided 4 lane road. 2 hours from Corona to Anaheim. Then they opened the 91.
I don't have the answer, but people commuting 60 miles or more are NUTS. There needs to be more incentives to live near your job.
All my friends who moved to the IE after H.S. to buy a better home cheaper now hate me, because I still live here. They spend their lives on the freeway, while I am usually home in 30-45 minutes from anywhere I work.

Ten minutes home to desk. It's worth A LOT. I've resisted temptation a couple times to "move up" in house.
