We've got some users out in the IE now. Let's plan a meet out there inbetween our regular meet. I suggest

Date: January 16, 2010
Time: From approximately 6:30
Location: Tentatively "Legends Burgers"

That's a street legal drag day I believe, just FYI.

Well, Fontana is in the IE. We could meet close to the track after the drags . . or is that too long of a day? Probably huh?

Alternatively, how about November 28? That's the week of Thanksgiving.

I'd be down for meeting after the drags...I dont think I'm going to stay all day bc I'm gonna go all out and then get kicked out..so my day will be short lol

I agree. There's a cool car hop theme burger place in Rancho named Legends Burgers that's off of Baseline.

You need to run in the 9's before you turn 40(like on Halloween maybe) - I believe it's an NHRA rule :sm_laughing:

That's good because I'm only 38. I'll be 39 next year so I still have another year. Besides, all I need to do to run 9's is run more than the 150 shot I'm running now. That is if I can figure out why my system won't flow more nitrous with larger jets.

I know, I was just giving you a hard time. I fully expect you to easily get into the 9's within the next year - probably on the 31st with any luck :bigthumbsup:

Yes but my best time has been 10.18 @131. Most runs are in the 10.25-10.50 range. All I did was a little bit of port work and installed new valve springs so I don't think it will be enough. But as long as I improve some I'll be happy because that means I didn't ruin my $2500 heads.

VERY VERY true...when i go to the track with slicks..i'm hoping by uppin the boost to 18-20psi i can hit 9's

legends has some pretty good food to so it should be a good get together
