View Full Version : HELP! Beater needs a new window!

So the beater got broken into last night. Passanger side front window. Radio stolen as well but we really don't care about that. We've gotta get the car back together and our initial quote have all come up with abotu $200, and 1 at $130. Anyone know of anybody who can help, and or has a rec?

It's a 1993 Mazda protege. We paid $500 for the car so to fork our $200 for the window is just insane.

Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks guys.

PS - Anyone know of anywhere, we can maybe buy the glass and install ourself? That might be an option.

I'm sooooo mad I can't even talk about it. I now won't be able to get the Cobra tinted, and I probably won't go racing on Halloween either. This is definitely money I don't need to be spending right now :(

It's got crank windows so nothing horribly mechanical in the way. And yes, 4dr front right according to Sean.

That would be awesome. Even the 115 installed is better than we found so far. Could he do it tomorrow? Where is he located?

He is mobile. Most time he comes to the shop. I could ask him if he would come to you for my price.

Ahh, you're a blessing. THANKS PAUL!!!!! Seans going to call the guy in a minute. It's amazing how much these prices vary.

LKQ Corp

They're a dismantler and generally have very good prices.

So the glass guys will be out tomorrow for $115 + tax - WOOHOO!

Now can someone please take the hex off this week. Just got word our really good friends had to put down their dog. Ahhh........................
