I grew up being a huge Yankees fan, but I'd have to say my favorite team in any sport is the Lakers. It's especially fun watching them this season. I hope they stay healthy. I'd love to see them go for the all time wins record :D

That's why I abandoned the "Rayduhs" and threw in with the Houston Texans. ........At least no one can call me a band wagon front runner! :D

I'm sorry but Boston fans are the worst...doesn't matter which sport. Raiders fans are just morons. Oh, and Lakers FTW.

Other than that, I'd have to say the US Hockey team that beat the Soviet Union would be near or at the absolute tops.

If you want some kind of gay pro team, the Red Sox when they came from behind against the Yankees in the pennant race. I don't think we'll see baseball like that again any time soon.

I don't watch sports, at all. But here's a story.

I was at an early Sunday morning meeting when I worked at Best Buy, along with probably another 100+ employees. At the end of the meeting we all get in close to do some sort of Best Buy cheer (which we'd never done before) as we're asking what we should cheer, one of the managers directly behind me yells at the top of his lungs "Go Bears!!!" Everyone turns and looks at him, he yells it again, and louder, "Gooo Beeeaaarrrsss!" It was awesome.

I'm going to have to disagree. Utah beat the team that beat USC and kicked the crap out of Alabama. I think they're definitely worthy despite playing in a weaker conference.

I know, I was a huge 49ers fan as a kid. It seems like they've been "rebuilding" for a decade now :suicide:

At least the Cowboys didn't make the playoffs either. It was so sweet watching them choke at the end of the season. I HATE the Cowboys (and for the record I also hate the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Pistons, Raiders and Duke :bigthumbsup:)
