So as you might know we have a special package arriving some time in April.

This weekend Sean (SeanPlunk) couldn't taking waiting any longer to find out the sex of the baby. In talking with some friends, they were able to find out much earlier than the 20w ultrasound by paying a few dollars to an ultrasound facility that does 2d and 4d and they would tell you the sex as early at 13w.

Sunday we had an appointment and wvola! It's been confirmed. Our suspicions and feelings of a boy, are in fact true. Another race car driver to add to the family.

But just as quickly as we found out it was a boy, we were quickly advised to put a club on the cobra so we don't get a little joy rider any time soon. :P

We have chosen Jack Stephen to be his name. Now lets hope the ultrasound lady was correct. Hehe, in a few weeks I guess it will be confirmed with another ultrasoun...lets hope!

Congrats! I would suggest you don't let Sean teach him how to drive.

Won't be a problem, he has plenty of "Uncles" to teach him.:p

Maybe all of us should pool our money and get this for "Jack".

16 of us putting in $10.00 should do it. I've got my 10 (dollars) right here.:judge:

Congratulations. He won't be able to use a car seat that size for quite a while. Trust me when I say that you will want one of the ones that connects to a stroller and has the seperated base for the car. My girls are finally both done with booster seat (Mya just turned 6) so if you and Sean want them for future use I can bring them to the track on the 31st. I have three of them so just let me know.

That is awesome! Were those mini-Vettes one-offs or did some company make them?

Congrats you two. Carlos of course stole the typing out of my fingers! :rolling:

Alexis,

Make sure this kid is a momma's boy becuase then he might have a chance at being a decent driver and more manly than Sean!

Those are custom but theres a company that makes newer Vettes and other models.

First of all, congrats to the two of you! Get all the sleep you can now, because you wont get any when he is born.

Also, look at these care seats (http://www.recarochildseat.com/home.jsp), much nicer.

I wouldn't give myself that much credit....I'm a horrible driver! I do know how to use the gas though and make the car move but pretty much Jack will learn from Sean, "aka mr cautious." I will however teach him how to get somewhere fast. :P

Ron, Thank you for thinking of us. I will talk it over with Sean and we'll get back to you.

The stroller, carrier, car seat thing is a total must :) Hehe I can't believe how fast the girls grow. It's amazing.

Are you racing on the 31st? If so what car? The boys (Adam and Sean) were thinking about taking you up on the slicks if they were open. :)
