Usually Volkswagon designs tend to be somewhat boring for me, but I have to say, I like the way this car looks:

Word is that the top end version is going to get a 265hp 2.0L Turbo Motor. With a DSG transmission I bet it would be a really fun car to drive.

I kinda like it, but am under the impression the price was gonna be quite high.

i believe when i talked to a few vee dub people they told me it was supposed to be cheaper then a gti. in the euro markets its actually cheaper then the gti, r32 golf, and another car or 2 that used the gti 2.0l turbo engine, and it handles better.

im not sure if i remember this right but i think the price was around 14-15,000
british pounds which for them is lovely and cheap for us its close to 28k

I don't know, I bet it's more than a GTI. That's the problem with VW. They make cool little hatches as good or better than anyone but then charge way too much for them.

Here is a picture of a tuner version - 272hp. I still like it so far :)
