I always get hot and bothered over the 4 rotor motors, they sound sooo angry without a hint of rice. I wonder how practical that would be.

Btw, the 20B was available in another application with a different name with stock peripheral ports.

What in 20 years when you actually finish it. Maybe you should get the Rx-Snake finished first. My dad, Phil and I will probably have our road race Camaro done before the Rx-Snake is completed.

I think the plan is to run it as soon as the motor is ready. I don't think the forum Gods intend to wait till the car is tits before putting it on the track.
Maybe we should start prepping the engine bay to get it sprayed so that we can install the motor, then paint the rest of the car at a later date.
The bumper is ready for glass. -5mins of sanding one corner left over. I just haven't had a chance to get out there because I have midterms coming up. I stayed up till 4am last night to turn in a huge paper at 8am. And up until a few weeks ago, I had work and school. Anyways, I'm sure we'll have a piece to complete the body in another two days of work. Making the plug for the mold was the hard part.
What is the status on the engine/ blower btw?

That's for sure. I've been busy starting another business (unexpected when said project began). If all goes reasonably well, I'll be far better capitalized to play with things like this. So I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. :sm_laughing:

Either you make your own 4 rotor out of 13/20b housings with a custom eccentric shaft, dowels, intake/exhaust manifolds, etc. or you have a company make one for you.
There was a company down here in SD making 12a based 4 rotor's that were equivalent length to a 20b that would bolt up to an FD tranny. The company is(was?) Autotech Motorsports but it seems their site is down.
I would stay away from PP'd motors unless your comfortable with rebuilding every 5k miles or so. Custom rotaries (hell rotaries in general) aren't the best in terms of performance per dollar.
Believe it or not, chevy made 3 and 4 rotor vette prototypes.

It was its own full on concept car with essentially nothing in common with the C3. For one thing, as I remember, it not only a Rotary, but a mid-engine design; something Zora was pushing hard for from early on.

Well, true, mid-engine, not much like a C3 mechanically, but it did look like a C3.

Mid-seventies Chevy Monza's had a very high transmission tunnel for the rotary that was never installed.

Yep, that is true. Chevy was going Rotory but smog issues killed it.:surrender:
