In order to get the best handling and out of the truck, Jed needed a spoiler on the roof of his truck to increase the downforces on the front of the truck to counteract the massive downforces created by the 2 he had out back. Genius redneck-engineering if you ask me Billy!

The rear skirts actually give this track warrior much needed drag. The 4cyl in this S10 is almost making triple digit hp and without those huge skirts and the rippled bondo sections this baby would be able to get to speeds over 70mph.

Bascially they're needed to tame this beast.
