I still can't believe you finally swapped in an LS1 - just awesome
What's next on the mod list? Nitrous, heads and cam, or something else?

J&M LCA's to fix the horrible wheel hop. I went to Irwindale and got kicked out on the first run due to no helmet. The ET was "meh" due to the crazy wheel hop at launch but the trap speed was pretty good.
ET: 8.59
MPH: 87.18

Probably easier than a V6. You can't even see the plugs or where the wires run on the V6...

Why would there be control arms to fix rear wheel hop on a solid axle? Do they consider the trailing arms/ panhard bars to be control arms?

They're not called trailing arms on F-bodies, they're called rear lower control arms... The panhard bar is a panhard bar. The single biggest fixes you can do for wheel hop (aside from shocks) are the rear lower control arms and an adjustable torque arm so that you can adjust pinion angle.
