Sometime in October or November I was thinking we could all meet for lunch at the Hat in Brea and then head down through Carbon Canyon to the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino. I'm actually thinking of maybe doing this on a Sunday. Here is the route I'm considering. (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=1210+E+Imperial+Hwy+Brea,+CA+92821-5715&daddr=33.924275,-117.821503+to:7000+Merrill+Ave.+%2317,+Chino,+CA+9 1710&geocode=&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=12&via=1&sll=33.970005,-117.76921&sspn=0.214115,0.307961&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=12) I was thinking we could do lunch at noon and then leave for the museum around 1. The museum houses a huge collection of WWII and other aircraft. (http://www.planesoffame.org/museuminfo.php?site=Chino) They're open until 5p.m. and it would be $11 to get in. What do you guys think?

I used to go there often when I was kid. I think it has expanded considerably since then.

Yea, when we were in Palm Springs I couldn't get enough of the planes there.

I've never been to the planes of Fame. Every time I tried to go something would happen. I planned to go with Aaron and Darlene this year--but......

It looks like Sunday October 18th is the consensus. I think I'm going to try to make that work unless anybody has a major objection?

10 is too early for lunch...and also I wanted to give those who go to church a chance to meet us. I'll look at timing though. Maybe we can split the difference and start at 11?
