Corvette won first GT2 vistory today at mosport.:thumbs_up: it was shocking how difficult passing was between the Corvette, the ferraris, the GT3s, and the M3s. It was a great race to watch. Definately a huge improvement over GT1 from a fan standpoint.
The Mazda LMP2 entry blew its rotory engine and lost the LMP2 championship.:smack:

Is it still the C6R with a heavily restricted and weighted car, or is it the C6 wit an LS3, etc.?

It's a whole new car with the Zr1 body. It's a much closer representation of the production variant than the C6R. It has a 6.0L block with two convergent divergent nozzle intake restrictors. They estimate it at 475hp.

I didn't watch ALMS this year. Is GT1 gone? Is Aston Martin out?

There was no GT1 race in today's race. i think they will be racing GT1 and GT2 at lemans
