Part 1 was a legitimate article about the dangers of turning your rotors, this is funny in itself and needs no background story.

Can you put the links up on here? I can't see then because I'm not a registered user on VM.

I turned the front rotors on the Cobra and they're slotted. I have no issues with them and they still stop great.

I learned back in high school auto shop class to always use the fine cut last and to put a swirl finish on the rotor. Even when I worked at Econolube back in high school the brake guys did this. I guess that's why I've never had an issue when I have my rotors turned. It's just like putting the final hone in a cylinder to help the rings set.

Interesting little "video". I guess I always thought shops used the fine setting and then sanded them. I guess I will ask next time. I would like to see one of those with regards to the direction of the slots on slotted rotors. I have heard different people say to mount them different ways.

Slotted rotors are directional and are marked Left and Right. They also say not to turn slotted rotors but I turned my front ones.
