Times are a bit tight for a lot of folks. Some are doing things that kind of make sense, like planning more effecient routes, ride sharing, driving in a more fuel effecient manor. Then there are some that are doing some weird crap, like going way upside down on their SUV loan to buy a more effecient vehicle, failing to calculate just how far they'd have to drive, even with far more expensive gas, to break even.
As for me, no difference. But then again my commute is 6 miles round trip in a 30+mpg Mazda. So I don't worry about taking the Vette for sporting runs when I feel like it.

Eh, a little. I'm just not being so wasteful. I'm being more aware of how I accelerate and staying on top of air pressure and air filter maintenance.
I will say that I haven't gone surfing nearly as much as I did last summer. And this is mostly due to the fact that it takes 1/3 tank roundtrip to my favorite surf spot. :(
I've also cut down on the late night what-should-I-do-but-go-cruising-because-I-am-bored drives to the beach or through the canyon.
It helps that I get 30mpg too.

We didn't change too much. We bought a beater car off of Alexis' dad, but probably would have regardless to have a spare vehicle.

Prob would have changed a lot more if I didn't buy that Neon last year. Damn was that a good investment.
This reminds me... I'm going to start a new thread.
