Well, no, but that'd probably be about the most effective marketing we could ever do. . .
MotorGen historical tidbit. In trying to think of names oh so many years ago, it was getting late and we came up with some pretty colorful ones. I especially like "Pit Cake" and "Motor Milk". I've wanted to brew my own ale for a long time. Maybe I should make my own blend and call it Motor Milk.

We do have a Race Queens/ Models (http://motorgen.com/pic/showgallery.php/cat/830) photo category. That's about as naughty as things are going to get around here.

As noted in another thread, we now have media embedding. For example, you can just grab the URL from YT and insert between regular URL tags (the little Earth with a link above) and poof your video will show. Like Brutal's favorite swap. :)

I like 'white" also--but not when it glares back at me. Just need to go like a lite shade of blue or green. Even a gray would tone it down some. Do just enough to cut the glare. Thanks for your attention.

Glenn, some questions:
1 - Did you have a hangover today?
2 - Is the white on this site, uh, somehow different than the white on other sites?
3 - It might be a contrast issue on your monitor. Because it's surround with black/dark colors, the white "pops" especially if you have your brightness/contrast cranked up. Play around with those settings on your onitor a little before we try to reinvent white. :smack:

So you don't want to change it, that's fine. Just don't try and blame me for the "white" you have on here.:p
BTW; I do know about all those little buttons on my monitor.:smack:

We might try to make it a user option to select the forum background and text color. Sometimes I like white letter on a blue background.

The whites have been toned down a little more. Check the contrast and brightness settings on your monitor - if either is up near 100%, that could explain why the whites are so blown out. Try switching back and forth between the two Motorgen styles to see if you notice a difference. Are there other sites with a lot of white in them that you sometimes go to? If you can, try this comparison - open the Google homepage (almost all white) and resize your browser to half of the screen. Open another browser with the Motorgen forum in it using the light gray style, resize that browser to half the screen and place it next to the browser with Google in it so you can see them side by side. Are both whites equally hard on your eyes, and do the whites look the same?

What do you guys think of making the dark setting the default? I think it works quite well and makes some of the text (like the recent threads on the home page) more visually interesting. It makes the differentiation of elements pop out more.
