Motorgen Beach Cruise and BBQ

Here's (http://www.motorgen.com/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=1165&day=2008-8-30&c=1) the event on the Calendar. Let us know if you think you're going to go. This event has two main sections; the cruise, and the beach bbq.

I was talking to Sean about doing a moonlight run in October and he mentioned it might be cool to do along the ocean. Then on my long bike ride last Sunday I ended up at the Beach in the evening and it was awesome, so I thought, why not have a nice summer Beach Cruise and BBQ.

We'll meet up at Yorba Linda Regional Park and end up at Hunting Beach by way of Silverado Canyon and PCH. See the event on the Calendar for details.

Mopar, what route did you take for your PCH cruise? I'm looking for some possible ideas.

We started from The Hollywood Casino jumped on the 405 then we got the 90 to the 10 and off on 2nd st or 3rd st not sure. From their we drove all pch to Topanga canyon we did a big loop until we finish at muholland dr. Back at PCH we hit a restaurant call "The Neptunes Seafood".

No, this will be open to everyone. We want to get everyone in the area involved, that's the whole reason we did this site. Once we finalize the details (tomorrow) I am going to post it on a whole bunch of boards. I usually post on:

Yes it's confirmed....I'll be fly'n solo at the beach all day (12 self reflection hours, and 5 until company arrives or I hear a huge crowd of horsepower).

If you wish to arrive to just the beach and want to come early...by all means, please do so. I'm not objecting. I'll need some company. Please feel free to PM for my cell to see what tower I'm at but look for the teal single cab, extended bed chevy (the green monster) and I'll be closely by (or in the truck sleeping). I'm going to try and have a sign or some yellow/orange/black balloon attached to the canopies to you guys know where I'm at.

The boys went pallet hunting last night and we got 6 of them chopped up. The dry cleaner was nice enough to hand over 20 hangers and they are ready for some weiners. I've got two bbq grates for some burgers, and the coolers are ready for some fun.

Don't forget to bring your goodies (meat, alcohol, and other such items) but we can't wait to see you all.

I think they were more worried about accidental door dings etc. I was down there a couple weeks ago and there was a new convertible Lambo, top down, parked between like a Taurus and and F-150. My kinda guy.

hey guys sorry i couldnt make it! i realized i needed to stock up on more e85 and made a quick run to LA, but that quick run turned into the most traffic filled trip ever left here at 11:30 and didnt get back home till 250 :-(.

i know i should have been better prepared for all this im sorry but for sure next event im gonna make it! it my personal goal now :-)

The next for sure one is a Moonlight Run in October. It'll be a little special, meeting at the Fullerton McDonald's meet at night, then heading out for either Joshua Tree or Palm Dessert to see those great landscapes under the moon.

We're going to see if we can squeeze one in before, probably like Septermber 20, a local daytime time; maybe Azusa or Mulholland.
