I'm a bit tired of pushing to make MG something it's not going to be without tremendously more time, effort and money. All of which I'm personally short on. I'm thinking to move it to a relatively simple forum only site with zero pretension of being anything other than a hobby. This means any of you who have cars, timeslips, etc., would lose them.
Think of this as the public comments time. :)

Does that mean we would loose any videos and pictures we have under our page?

You’re more knowledgeable about the implications than most of us so if you’re leaning in the direction of switching I’ll have to assume that things will be relatively okay. As long as Motorgen.com doesn’t go away completely I guess I’m okay with it.

I think I could maintain existing pictures and videos, and the ability to continue uploading pictures, but probably not videos (that is actually a big hassle).

It's your baby Ben. I will not be bothered by the change.

It might not be a bad call.

I haven't uploaded videos to my page since 2011....And most of them wont play anymore......So do what you need to ! Does this effect photobucket and youtube embedding also??

At worst that would be no worse and likely better. Part of why I'm considering it, other hosting for media is just radically better than when we started.
