Thanks broheim. I put a little more work into this one than I usually do. My computer is MUCH faster so it's a lot more convenient.

Nice Vids. I like the information displayed at the bottom. How do you accomplish that?

Money fooo.

The poor man's way if you have an android phone to do something similar is a Bluetooth (sorry apple) ODBII connector and an app called Torque. It'll be about $25. What Rey has going on . . is a bit more.

The video comes from a ContourGPS ($300). I use a Panavise suction mount for the camera, I use the mount for track days at Fontana Speedway at speeds approaching 160mph without any failures ($30). The data for gearing, rpm and throttle position is via an OBD interface made by KiwiPLX ($100). I use an app on my iPhone called Harry's LapTimer to collect all the data ($18). The software to overlay the data on top of the video is DashWare ($49). I have been using this setup for a few years without any issues.

I use Harry's lap timer it's fairly accurate even with my iPhone 1hz gps input. There is a 5hz module upgrade available. It honestly gives you 90% of what my Traqmate does at a fraction of the price. Great product.

I forgot to add that to my list of parts, I use an Emprum Ultimate GPS ($100) for 5hz accuracy. Newer iPhones already have 5hz GPS engines. Thank you for pointing this out.
