Welded the bumper to the frame so it doesnt slide around, and drilled the bumper for these.

Its probably unnecessary, because it has really good travel, but Im going to weld some limiting tabs on the bracket to keep it from hitting the bumper.

Looks good, But how in hell did you "sun burn" your shoulder by welding those up? It take a good long day of welding before my forearms get a small amount of burn.

Are you white?
These brackets are 8" long, 3/16. I welded all sides. Plus I did some on my frame. I was out there for a few hours (in the shade).

Ouch...
Ya I'm very white and have burned my forearms a few times before but that was after welding for half a day and still nothing like yours. And how did you weld them? TIG, MIG?

I'm white too, I spent 10 hours in direct sunlight on sunday and got a nice tan, bitches.
