The Stig laps the Top Gear track in an F1 car.

I've never seen this video before. I guess this was the Renault car from 2005. On a damp track he managed to lap the track in 59 seconds! That's incredible - I believe the production car record is still in the 1 minute and 17 second range. Even the Ferrari FXX and Caparo T1 only managed times in the 1 minute and 10 second range. I bet in better weather it could do it in 55 seconds :hail:

I wish they would've posted the speedometer next to the timer for the cockpit cam portion.
