Sweet! It's going to be a hybrid like several other advanced sports cars now. But will cost much less (relatively speaking). This is cool.

Cool, finally got the horsepower up on the only Japanese super car. Still not up to super car territory but at least itll be able to hang with the sports cars.
Hybrid is evidence of bad marketing strategy, if you have enough money to buy a new super car, you dont care about gas mileage.

Wrong No. 1
Lexus LFA with a tiny 550HP V10 engine by Yamaha, that, IMO, is the best sounding NA engine out there. Sounds like a early 90s F1 car. Seriously.

The last two are from little mom & pop companies, maybe you've heard of them; Porsche and McLaren.

The NSX will be an every man's car by comparison, somewhere in the GT-R, Viper, upper Vette range.

Good call on the ISF, but the NSX is a super car. Its subjective, but either way theres not a price barrier. If its shaped like a super car, and over priced for its performance value, IMO, its a super car. This one just happens to be a slow super car.

And thats besides the point anyways. If you have enough money to buy a brand new NSX, super car or not, you dont care THAT much about fuel economy.

You don't quite get this. Google "economic signaling."
Porsche at >$500k will sell its hybrid and McLaren at > $1,000k will sell its hybrid. Let me rephrase that. Presell all production.
Hate to be break it to ya'll , but cars aren't shit for big money. Toys and play things. That's all. These guys will toss around 10 years of our gross wages for something to be seen in on occasion.
You're right if you think these buyers can afford any gas price, you are profoundly wrong if you construe this to mean they would only buy NA and FI power plants based on raw power numbers.
