State your preference, only on looks.

I prefer the Evo X - I actually really like the way it looks. It wish it hadn't gained a couple hundred pounds over the last model though :o

I like the hatchback of the STI. Makes it a little more hip IMO. The Evo's front end it what turns me off. It looks like it was pieced together or designed by a bunch of guys who all made part of the front end.

I think it proves that Subaru succeeded in their goal of appealing to an older demographic. (30s vs. 20s) While the older model looks cool enough, I wouldn't personally drive one . . . at least a dd (I'd race it of course). The new one I'd have no problem driving all the time and would be on my list if I were in the market to replace my Protege 5.

My favorite body style STi (minus the gold rims...).

cripes, both of these cars are absolutely hideous. Never did understand them, though the STI from uh...2 gens ago? without the ugly divider in the grill, was definitely pretty serious. The new ones = :barf:

Ok, but you won't need the bag. But, you will have to let me drive it once, we'll bring a bag for you.:sm_laughing:

lol havent u heard i blew my 122 mini block!! but it was just my tuning nothing to do with the e85 or the power i was making.
i just ran the e85 to lean at idle and cruise conditions and over the long term it fried my cylinder 2 piston ring.
so what did i learn.....there is a good reason y no one runs 19.5:1 afr on e85 so imma keep it to 16.0:1 max lol
but ya the whole waiting is just for secrete japanese sauce engine to come fresh off the boat from japan land!!!
and now imma have another spare evo block to someday build up lol......
and this is wat sucked most of all i found a freakin starion that i could afford but now it looking i wond be the proud owner of 2 cars :-(

Hey brother nice to hear from you again. I thought maybe you didn't like us anymore :(
I'll never talk smack about guys who try to do stuff like ur doing (like my spelling). You're pushing the envelope on what's understood and there are going to be some setbacks. Look at how many rockets NASA launched into the ground before they got that sorted, and there were like actual rocket scientists working on that problem. :smack:
PS What's the 411 with Starion? Is it just the motor or are there any other cool little features about it. I was listening to Flock of Seagulls the other day and was thinking about all the neato cars from the 80s; a much malinged era.

I will ALWAYS do suspension first... shortly followed thereafter by Rims n Rubber.. If I can't put the power to the ground what good is it huh? after suspension my transmission is going to have a minor overhaul, then starting with boltons I/E/DP/intercooler + piping... then brakes then the list in my sig... ;)

u have a good head on ur shoulders kid !! lol but ya good mod list and 400hp shouldnt be too hard for you to reach on that set up...if you are having any trouble with it just go to 105oct - c16 or e85 an it should be easy
and when u get ur suspension done we should do a road course :-D
